THE GRINCH HAS STOLE OUR CHRISTMAS

DECEMBER HAS JUST STARTED

CHRISTMAS IS COMING!! HAVE YOU GOT AN ADVENT CALENDAR AT HOME? HERE YOU ARE A VIDEO ABOUT A GIRL WHO RECEIVES THE VISIT OF AN ELF EVERY DECEMBER. THIS YEAR IT WAS HIDDEN IN A BALOON, CAN YOU BELIEVE IT?? SOMETIME ELFS CAN BE A LITTLE BIT NAUGHTY!! BUT PAY ATTENTION BECAUSE THEY ARE  FATHER CHRISTMAS REPORTERS, THIS IS, THEY ARE IN CHARGE TO TELL FATHER CHRISTMAS ABOUT YOUR BEHAVIOUR. SO FOLLOW MY ADVICE: TRY TO BE GOOD IN CASE THERE IS A HIDDEN ELF IN YOUR HOUSE.... Nadal ja s'aproxima!! Teniu calendari d'advent a casa? Avui us deix un vídeo sobre una filleta que cada desembre rep la visita d'un elf. Aquest any estava amagat dins un globús, increïble no? De vegades els elfs poden ser un poc pillos!! HAVE GOT/HAS GOT

THIS WEEK WE HAVE INTRODUCED A NEW VERB: HAVE GOT (TENIR) WE EXPLAIN THAT IS A VERB THAT WE CAN USE TO TALK ABOUT THE THINGS THAT WE POSSESS, BUT WE CAN'T USE IT TO TALK ABOUT OUR AGE, IN THIS WE WE WILL SAY: I AM 15 YEARS OLD I HAVE GOT A CAT HAVE YOU GOT A PET?? TELL ME SOMETHING THAT YOU HAVE GOT!! LINK TO PRACTICE Aquesta setmana hem introduït el verb: have got. Hem explicat que és un verb que serveix per parlar de coses que posseïm, però que en anglès no el podem emprar per parlar de la nostra edat. Us deix un enllaç per si voleu practicar. HAPPY HALLOWEEN

THIS WEEK WE HAVE BEEN WORKING ON HALOWEEN. WE WATCHED A VIDEO ABOUT HOW THIS FESTIVITY IS CELEBRATED IN ENGLAND. WE HAVE LEARNT PLENTY OF THINGS!! MOREOVER WE HAVE STARTED LISTENING A NEW SONG. THIS TIME IT IS A SONG BY SUPERGRASS IT IS CALLED ALLRIGHT ON THE NEXT VIDEO YOU HAVE THE LYRICS IN CASE YOU WOULD LIKE TO SING IT AT HOME! HAVE A NICE WEEK END!! Aquesta setmana hem treballat la festa de Halloween. Hem un video sobre com es celebra aquesta festa a Anglaterra i hem après moltes coses. A més a més hem començat a treballar una cançó nova. La podeu veure en els vídeos que he penjat més amunt. Bon cap de setmana!!

THIS WEEK WE HAVE STARTED WORKING ON OUR PRESENTATION. WE HAVE DONE A SCRIPT ALTOGETHER ABOUT WHAT IT IS IMPORTANT WHEN WE HAVE TO INTRODUCE OURSELVES. IN THIS LINK YOU CAN FIND THE SCRIPTS: PRESENTATION SCRIPT 4TH A PRESENTATION SCRIPT 4THB  WE HAVE USE A SIMILAR SHEET TO THE ONE THAT IS ABOVE TO GATHER ALL THE INFORMATION. WE WILL USE IT AS A DRAFT. AFTERWARDS WE WILL REWRITE THE INFORMATION WITH NO MISTAKES ON A BEAUTIFUL CARDBOARD. SO...  NEXT WEEK YOU SHOULD BRING PICTURES AND DRAWINGS ABOUT YOUR FAMILY, HOBBIES, FAVOURITE FOOD, ETC... TO STICK ON THE CARDBOARD IN ORDER TO ILLUSTRATE YOUR INFORMATION. Aquesta setmana hem començat a treballar la nostra presentació. Hem fet un guió amb tot allò que trobam que és important. LAST WEEK WE HAVE REVIEWED THE PERSONAL PRONOUNS: THESE ARE WORDS THAT WE USE WHEN WE SPEAK IN ORDER TO SUBSTITUTE THE PERSONAL NAMES.  DOWN BELOW I AM POSTING A CHARD THAT CAN BE HELPFUL TO DO THE HOMEWORK LOOK WHO I CAUGHT SINGING!!! 4TH B 4TH A Hola, aquesta setmana passada hem repassat els pronoms personals: són paraules que empram quan parlam per substituir els noms propis. Aquí a dalt us he deixat una taula que us pot ajudar per fer els deures. Ah! els dos enllaços que us he deixat són de la tercera sessió del listening!

FIRST SONG LISTENING OF THE YEAR!!

Dear families,  usually on MONDAYS we  WILL finish our lessons listening to a song that it has  been previously chosen by the students. The proposals must follow two rules: no swearwords on the lyrics and no violence on the song video.  I AM AWARE  THAT WE HAVE A LONG LIST OF SUGGESTIONS, SO FAR. The MONDAY'S listening are organized as follow: we will listen the same song four sessions in a row. The first MONDAY the students will be given the entire lyrics, instead the second and third MONDAY the lyrics will have missing words to be found out by them. Finally, the fourth MONDAY the students will be given the lyrics, again with gaps (missing words). These gaps will be a mix of the blanks worked on the previous lessons. In this case, the fourth session, the activity will be corrected by the teacher and marked. The students will listen to the song twice and, depending on the level of difficulty of the song, they will have the lyrics on the video T...

EARLY MORNING SONGS

HELLO ON THIS FRIENDLY FRIDAY!! TODAY I WOULD LIKE TO SHARE WITH YOU SOME OF THE SONGS THAT WE WILL SING AND DANCE  ON THE EARLY MORNING SESSIONS. THE INTENTION OF THIS ACTIVITIES IS TO REVIEW EVERYDAY VOCABULARY, SUCH AS THE DAYS OF THE WEEK OR THE MONTHS OF THE YEAR, IN AN AMUSING WAY. Bon dia en aquest Friendly Friday! Avui m'agradaria compartir amb vosaltres algunes de les cançons que cantarem i ballarem en les sessions de primera hora. La intenció d'aquestes activitats és repassar vocabulari senzill, com els dies de la setmana o els mesos de l'any, d'una manera entretinguda.
